Here are some tips for finding your number
-
Trace the distance between the heel and the longest toe on a sheet of paper, making a mark at the heel and one at the toe.
-
Accurately measure the length between the two strokes and use the reference chart to find your number.
-
Follow the same procedure for the other foot, because it often happens that the feet are not exactly the same length. In this case, the measurement to consider is the largest one.
Boots
-
To find the height of a boot (leg height), measure, from the side, the distance between the ankle and the calf. This measurement varies a few millimeters from one number to another.
-
The width (cuff width) indicates the widest point of the boot leg. Measure the circumference of your ankle at the widest point to find out which width is right for your foot. This measurement varies a few millimeters from one number to another.
-
The heel height however remains unchanged in all sizes.
